Floor Manager: collected and collated scripts for news, sports and weather anchors; printed camera rundowns and confirmed each camera operator was clear on instructions; counted talent in and out of commercial breaks; directed talent to each camera during live news broadcast; oversaw camera operators and teleprompter operator; ensured live news broadcast ran smoothly by effectively communicating with the director, anchors, studio workers and producers.
Studio Camera Operator: verified camera positions via rundown before each live broadcast; proactively changed camera shots and positions according to rundown during the show; moved camera smoothly and efficiently so talent was framed correctly and was unnoticed by audience; communicated with floor manager and director.
Teleprompter Operator: loaded scripts into teleprompter before broadcast began; anticipated each anchors speaking rhythm to keep the teleprompter on pace with the way they read; moved forward or backward quickly when needed; jumped through stories if rundown changed or stories were cut; communicated with talent, floor manager and director.
